Time Flies
Your brain perceives time. Time flies as we age because of our routine - we do the same things every day. Feed your brain different things, be mindful and present... time will slow time down!
- Change your routine - do something different from what you normally do, drive a different route, stop at a different store, etc.
- Travel - do a day trip, use the weekend for an overnight trip, travel to a different state, area or country.
- Start a new project - start a project that you have been putting off. Make sure that you break it down into doable tasks.
- To do list - make a list of tasks and cross them off as you finish them.
- Pay attention to small things - be present and mindful, make a note of small things.
- Keep a journal - write down your thoughts and impressions from the day.
- Take photos - take photos of memorable things or events for that day.
- Pick a new hobby - find a hobby, start learning a new language or instrument.
